Those lovely ladies at Keysbrook

Alright everyone. Went down to Turner Hill on Monday. Track is very nice. Well done to all involved. But I'm still not game enough to do that A-Line.

But going back at 2.20 that day, we found that the trusty Keysbrook shop was almost closed. Luckily we managed to get some food. But they said that they usually close the shop at 2 on weekends. So we had a bit of a chat to the ladies and with my charm and looks and Dad's great way of talking people into things, we managed to show them the light and get them to stay open until 3 on Sunday arvo. That should give us all enough time to get down there.

All this means that on the weekend you will be able to get some of the best food you'll see. And taste. And it will be a great finish to a great weekend. It is incredibly cheap, you get heaps for what you pay for and they have some of the biggest and best burgers that have just about everything on them (I've seen growers markets with less salad than these). Some of you may remember Mike's rave about them from a few months ago.

So get down and support a great shop that seems to make up most of the town. You can remember where it is because its the only town on the way back to Perth that you don't have to slow down for.

And everybody have a great race. It should be a lot of fun.

Actually, I think they slaughter a cow out back every time you order a burger.
...It's a country town.

Do you get to choose which cow?

Anyway, I can settle for lentils. I'll just bring my own asafoetida.
