At the end of this season a few members of the PMBC committee will be standing down from their positions (me included) and no longer be directly involved in the club committee. This is a great opportunity for some new fresh faces to become involved and have your say. It is not a difficult thing to be part of and there is a great chance to help the sport of mountain biking growing in WA.
WAMBA will be back up and running next year I will be a part of getting this going) and will take on all issue to do with Trails advocacy and the overall race calendar. The club itself will only have to worry about organising races and other social events.
If you think you might be interested in being a part of the committee or you think your parents might want to help the club then let me know and I can give you some more information about it.
The club AGM will be held sometime in October or November when we have the presentation night.

Let me guess ? the AGM will be held 2weeks after its posted and most likely on a day I won't be able to attend. :( because I am usually booked 4weeks in advance. Not having a dig, Its just that every time I wish to get involved in something it gets planned for a day out of my reach. Looks like i'll be off the list again this year.

AGM will be the same night
AGM will be the same night as our presentation night and under our constitution we have to give 3 weeks notice as a minimum (we will try and make it longer if we can). You can put in a proxy vote if you can't make it.
But I'm sure you can find some room to fit us into your social life. Make us the social life!
Hmm? Marriage or WAMBA/PMBC
John you can talk to the missus about putting our wedding for the AGM. "Sorry honey we can't have a honeymoon, I'm going to a meeting." Ahahahah. I'm sure she will take the news just fine. I'll just be sure to not go home ever again. hehehe. Will still try and get there. Make it after Nov 5th Just for me. :)
