bike wanted

Hi. I'm doing a road / 4wd trip around Oz and currently through WA with my family. I didn't bring a bike with me as we did a lot of off road in the top end which would have wrecked one - and would like to buy something inexpensive so that I can get some training in over the next few months while travelling east and home.
If anyone in the Perth area has a bike (road or hardtail) which would let me get a few ks in on the way home please could you email me on donsimon25@gmail.com. I'm 5'11".
