SWAP - my Trek 8500 MTB for your road bike

i have an 05 trek 8500 frame, medium size (17 i think) built with:
-fox frlt80 forks (need new seals)
-fsa xc300 wheels
-xt crank (760)
-xtr rear der (952)
-xtr shiter/levers (952)
-xt front der (760)
-xt cassette (760)
-xtr chain with split link for easy cleaning
-avid bb7's
-epx carbon seat post
-epx carbon riser bar
-richey pro stem
-spare richey pro flat bar
-2 wtb saddles
-kenda nevegal tyres (1.9 with the dual compound)
-michellin tyres (some life left)
-brand new slicks
-HID technologies HID helmet light (very bright, about 4hr burn time)

plenty of life in the chainrings and cassette. all works very well. frame is straight, some scrathes (nothing major) but no dents. with the nevegals on the bike can weigh less than 11kgs depending on saddle and bar choice. is great for xc riding and would make a great race bike for someone looking to start xc.

I need to get a road bike for training and commuting. I dont have time to participate in MTB any more as i live a long way from any real mtb riding and have renovations and other things eating my time. seems a shame that this bike just gets ridden with slicks on.

let mw know if you're interested and what you have by emailing scott.williams@lotterywest.wa.gov.au
