Any one going to see the World Cup?

Hey all,
I was thinking about heading over to the World Champs in Canberra to have a look. Is there anyone else heading over that would like to share the fun and costs. It is at Stromlo (out of Canberra) Aug 30 - 31. Thought it would be more fun to go with others rather than solo. The website is http://worldcup.mtbworlds.com.au

It will be a great week of MTB.
CORC have organised a number of other support races in the week before the UCI World Cup, including XC races for all grades / ages the day before the main event. You should take your bike and have a ride on the course and the other great Canberra trails.
It might be a little chilly and breezy on Mt Stromlo at that time of year - it ALMOST makes me sorry for the world's elite coming from the heat and humidity of the Olympics only 10 days before into the freezer that will be Canberra in August!! ALMOST - after all, it's only what Australian athletes have to do on a regular basis to compete in the big Northern hemisphere races.

There is a good chance I will be going to work at the race but I may head over the weekend before to do the 8hr race that is on at Stromlo just to get amongst it all.
If I do that I will also go to Majura on the Monday for a ride as well. If anyone likes the sound of that let me know
