The XC State Round 3 will be
The XC State Round 3 will be held at Cycletrek Nature Park, on the Ferguson-Lowden-Grimwade Rd, Lowden (15km from Wellington Mills) on Sun June the 22nd. It is an excellent track and worth the drive. As you are heading down the South West Highway from Perth some kms after Burekup there is a Gull servo (on the right and side of the road) - turn left into Waterloo Rd (opposite the Gull servo) at this point. Continue on this road which will bring you out at the Dardanup-Ferguson Rd. Turn left and follow that all the way (past Gnomesville). From Gnomesville turn into Wellington Lowden Rd which will take you to Donnybrook-Boyup Brook Rd, Lowden (Preston Valey store is on right corner - open 7am to 7pm). Cross straight over into Lowden-Grimwade Rd. The track is 4kms from the corner - no 416, first driveway on right hand side after you hit the gravel.
The race is on dieback free private land so riders will have to sure their bikes are clean before they arrive (and dont forget to clean under bottom bracket and saddle). Muddy bikes will not be allowed into the property.
Rego online at https://www.registernow.com.au/secure/Register.aspx?ID=1170 to save yourself a $10 on day rego late fee.

Barry's Block XC Race Tomorrow
Mountain Biking - The only way to see Australia's hidden places.
Just a quick question about the race at Barry's block tomorrow. The website says that registration is at 9am. My husband Jamie has previously raced in a PMBC club race this year so already has his race number plate. If we were to register online do we have to be there at 9am? It's just that he's racing in veteran male and will have to wait around for 3 hours between registering and racing?
If you could let us know asap that would be great. Please reply via e-mail or give us a call on 0403227357 or 0421453004.
Cheers

Whoops! Hopefully someone saw your post and got back to you before race day. For future reference, Yes, prerego is all that is required - you don't have to rock up early to make rego on the day.
As usual, Barry's Block provided some good hard XC racing. Here are some shots of some unorthodox action - thanx Kat! - pics

Does anyone else have any bulk photos for viewing as i am keen to have a look. Directions to sites would be fantastic.
